Terms of Service

By using Talk2Post, you agree to these terms. Talk2Post provides a voice-to-post generation service. You retain ownership of all content you create using our app.

Talk2Post is for people aged 16 and over. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old.

You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose, to generate harmful or misleading content, or to attempt to reverse-engineer the application.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

You can delete your account at any time from the app or at talk2post.com/delete-account. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play.

These terms are governed by French law. If a dispute cannot be settled amicably, it falls to the competent French courts.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. Here is how we handle your data:

Data we collect

• Account information (name, email) from your social sign-in provider • Voice recordings you submit for post generation • Generated posts and your preferences (writing style, language)

How we use it

• To transcribe your voice recordings and generate posts • To personalize your experience based on your preferences • To improve our AI models and service quality

Why we are allowed to

• Running your account, transcribing your recordings and generating your posts: performance of the contract between you and us • Improving our AI models and service quality: the consent you give when you accept these terms • Showing ads on the Free plan: the consent you give in the ads window • Detecting crashes, and preventing fraud and abuse: our legitimate interest in keeping the service working and secure

Data storage & security

Your data is hosted on managed cloud infrastructure in the European Union, with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.

Transfers outside the EU

Your account, your recordings and your posts are stored in the European Union. Some processing happens outside it: the AI service providers that transcribe your audio and write your posts, and the services that report crashes, operate from the United States. These transfers are covered by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, included in the agreements we have with those providers.

How long we keep your data

Drafts: how long we keep them depends on your plan. • Free: 7 days • Starter: 14 days • Pro: until you delete them

If you change plan, the drafts you already have restart on the new plan's period from the day of the change. The drafts screen shows how many days each one has left.

Audio: the audio file of a recording saved as a draft is deleted together with that draft. The audio of any other recording, one you turn straight into a post or discard, is deleted within 24 hours.

Posts and transcripts: the posts you generate stay in your account until you delete them. The text transcript of each recording is kept until your account is deleted, and erased within 30 days of your deletion request.

Cleanup runs once a day, so content can remain for up to 24 hours past its date. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Payments

Subscriptions and credit packs are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and managed for us by RevenueCat, which handles checkout, renewals and receipt verification. We never see or store your payment card details: Apple, Google and RevenueCat handle that directly.

Third-party services

To transcribe your recordings and generate your posts, we work with trusted AI service providers, who process your audio and text on our behalf and only to provide the service.

We use Google and LinkedIn for authentication. Your use of these services is subject to their respective privacy policies.

The Free plan shows ads served by Google AdMob. To show them, Google may use your device's advertising ID and device information. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you choose whether ads are personalized in a consent window when you first open the app. Starter and Pro have no ads.

We use Sentry to detect crashes and monitor the app and our servers. When something goes wrong, Sentry receives technical details: a pseudonymous user ID, your device model and OS version, the app version, your plan, the address of the request that failed and the error itself. A report sent from our servers can also carry your IP address and the content of the failed request, which may include a transcript or a post. We use these reports only to fix the problem.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. You can also ask for a copy of the data you gave us, in a machine-readable format.

To delete your account: in the app, go to Profile → Preferences → Delete account; or visit talk2post.com/delete-account; or email support@talk2post.com.

Your account is closed immediately, and your data is permanently erased within 30 days. Until then, you can ask us to restore it.

Some information may remain afterwards: purchase records kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat under their own policies, and data already used to improve our AI models, which can't be taken back out of them.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through Apple or Google: cancel it from your store account.

You can object to the processing we base on our legitimate interest, and withdraw a consent you have given, at any time. Withdrawing it does not undo what was done before.

If you think we have mishandled your data, you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country. In France, that is the CNIL (cnil.fr).
